when I pip install twitter or tweepy I cant import or make instances of either

I'm using Django and I'm following a tutorial about using twitter. I

pip install twitter

and it installs but when I

import twitter

I get red error lines under twitter. I thought maybe it's just my editor, pycharm, because it does the same thing for feed parser but it works. So I tried to make an instance of it but it's not recognized. I did the same exact thing with tweepy. Anybody know what's my issue? The book is from 2014 but I figure It's not that old
